About Ebenezer
About Us
A Historic Church with a Living Faith
For nearly 150 years, Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church has been a beacon of faith, worship, service, and community in Fort Worth, Texas.
Organized on March 17, 1878, Ebenezer has been blessed with a rich heritage of proclaiming the Gospel, teaching the Word of God, serving families, and ministering to the needs of the Stop Six community and beyond.
Through changing generations and seasons, our commitment remains the same: to lift up Jesus Christ, rightly divide the Word of God, love one another, and share the hope of the Gospel with the world.
At Ebenezer, we believe that everybody is somebody and that every person who enters our doors should experience the love, grace, and hospitality of Christ.
We are grateful for where God has brought us, mindful of those whose sacrifices made our ministry possible, and excited about what God has yet to do through Ebenezer.
Our Mission
The mission of Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church is to seek Jesus Christ as Lord and to worship God in spirit and in truth as a Christian family.
Following the command of Jesus Christ in John 15:12—“Love one another, as I have loved you”—we seek to demonstrate the love of Christ through worship, fellowship, discipleship, evangelism, and service.
We are committed to sharing the Gospel both individually and collectively with our families, our community, and the world. We also seek to minister to the spiritual, physical, and social needs of the church and community through a spirit of compassion, fellowship, caring, and service.
